This special 2022 vintage selection comes from Armory Vineyard, where grower Will John has taken on the daredevil task of dry-farming Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the mountainous westside Adelaida District. The nose is flush with violets, cherry, plum and tobacco leaf. A smooth, silky mouthfeel delivers vivid red fruits with accents of black cherry. The finish is marked by energy and firmness, a lingering ode to Armory Vineyard’s unique terroir. This is a wine that will keep you thinking—and drinking—deep into the night.
